SafeHire AI
Recruitment analysis that never leaves your hardware
SafeHire AI is a local recruitment analysis tool that compares job postings with candidate documents using on-premise AI. Every analysis runs entirely on your hardware — no candidate data is ever sent to external servers.
How SafeHire works
SafeHire AI runs entirely on your organisation’s hardware. The AI inference engine — built on local large language models — processes job postings and candidate documents without any network calls to external servers.
This is not a privacy policy promise. It is an architectural guarantee. The application has no capability to send data externally because it does not make outbound network connections during analysis.
The analysis workflow
- Upload a job posting and candidate documents (CVs, cover letters)
- SafeHire analyses each candidate against the job requirements using local AI models
- Review results — fit scores, strengths, weaknesses, and bias analysis
- Make decisions — the AI provides analysis, the human makes the hiring decision
Human oversight is enforced by design. SafeHire produces indicative analysis that supports decision-making. It does not make automated decisions about candidates.
Why on-premise matters for recruitment
Recruitment data is among the most sensitive personal data an organisation processes. CVs contain names, addresses, employment history, education, and often health information or other special category data.
Cloud-based recruitment AI tools create a data processor relationship under GDPR Article 28. This means negotiating Data Processing Agreements, conducting transfer impact assessments for non-EU infrastructure, and accepting that candidate data exists on hardware you do not control.
SafeHire eliminates this complexity entirely. Your data, your hardware, your control.

EU AI Act Compliance
High-risk AI system (EU AI Act Annex III, Point 4)
SafeHire AI is classified as a high-risk AI system because it is used for screening and evaluating job candidates. Unlike cloud-based alternatives, SafeHire meets high-risk obligations by design: automatic audit logging, built-in bias monitoring, enforced human oversight, and complete data sovereignty.

No data processor agreement needed
Because SafeHire runs on your hardware, no Article 28 GDPR Data Processing Agreement is required. Your organisation remains the sole data controller.
No cross-border data transfer
GDPR Chapter V transfer restrictions do not apply. Candidate data stays within your infrastructure — no Schrems II concerns.
DPIA support included
SafeHire provides technical documentation to support your Data Protection Impact Assessment, as required for high-risk AI under GDPR Article 35.
Automatic audit trail
Every analysis generates EU AI Act compliant log files automatically. No manual documentation, no after-the-fact compliance retrofitting.
